A logo is the smallest part. The system is the point.
Anyone can draw a mark. What makes a brand hold together is everything around it — how it behaves at 16 px and on a 6 metre banner, which typeface carries the tone, which colours are allowed, and what happens when someone new joins your team and has to use it without asking.
What lands in your folder
Every identity project ships with the same core set. Bigger packages add to it — nothing is ever removed.
- Primary logo, plus horizontal and stacked lockups
- Icon / app mark for small sizes and avatars
- Monochrome and reversed (knockout) versions
- Full colour palette with HEX, RGB, CMYK and Pantone
- Typography system with weights and pairing rules
- Clear-space and minimum-size rules
- Misuse examples — what people must not do to it
- Brand guideline PDF (12–28 pages depending on package)
- Source files: AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, JPG
- Social profile and cover assets, correctly sized
The five stages, and what happens in each
-
Discovery & brief — days 1–2
You fill in a guided questionnaire (about 15 minutes) covering audience, positioning, competitors, tone and the things you actively dislike. We follow up with one 30-minute call to pull out what the form missed. Output: a written brief you approve before anything is drawn.
-
Research & direction — days 3–5
We audit your category, map where competitors sit visually, and build two or three moodboards. You pick a direction here — while it is still cheap to change your mind.
-
Concept design — days 6–10
Two to three complete concepts, each presented in context: on a card, a sign, a product, a phone screen. Each one comes with a short written rationale so you can judge the idea, not just the shape.
-
Refinement — days 11–15
The chosen concept goes through structured revision rounds. We tune the curves, test it at 16 px and at billboard scale, build the lockups, lock the palette and set the type. Every round is logged with what changed and why.
-
Guidelines & handover — days 16–18
We write the guideline document, export every format, name the files sensibly and hand over one organised folder. Then we walk you through it on a call so your team knows what to use where.
